We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2023, at the age of 90, Ruth C Simmons (Sussex, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George M. Christy and Pearl Christy (Skellenger); her husband David B. Simmons Sr.; and her sister Helen VandenHeuvel. She is survived by : her sons, David B. Simmons Jr. (Beth S. Yacovone) of Wantage and Dennis T. Simmons (Mark Koteen) of Winter Park. She is also survived by many other nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Ruth's name to the Beemerville Presbyterian Church, c/o Ruth Bootsma, Treasurer, 67 Decker Road, Sussex, New Jersey 07461.
