She was predeceased by: her parents, P. I. Varghese and Mariamma Varghese; and her husband K. Thomas (Thankachan). She is survived by: her son Matthew; her granddaughter Lauren; and her child Beena (Pinto). She is also survived by extended family; and numerous friends.
