She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Burton and Hayes Burton; and her former husband Walter Williams. She is survived by: her cousins, Mildred "Millie" Jackson, Keisha, Jerroll, Paris and Kourtney. She is also survived by friends that became extended family.
