He is survived by: his wife Marion Vanderslice; his sons, Joseph Vanderslice, IV (Colleen) and Doug Vanderslice; his grandsons, Joseph and Leo; his brother David Vanderslice (Claudia); and his nieces and nephews, Summer, Lauren, Mike and John (Lauren).
