Doris leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Doris’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Doris will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Illick Pearson (David) of Alexandria, VA and Dr. Julie Illick Macri (Carol Kaminski) of Ocean Grove; her grandsons, John Pearson of Woodbridge, VA and Jeffery Pearson (Lindsey) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her great grandchildren, Claire and Cole Pearson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen (270 Woodbridge Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery (270 Woodbridge Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840).
