With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan A Kenny of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan A Kenny to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Palvis and Lillian Palvis (Sipos); her former husband Andrew Linde; her husband Robert Hummer; and her siblings, Richard Palvis (Eileen), Lillian Palvis (Walter), Patricia Palvis and Kenneth Palvis.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica DeNardo (James) of Aberdeen and Joseph Linde (Margaret) of Berkley Springs; and her stepchildren, Michael Gormley (Judy) of Oregon, John Gormley (Rita) of California, Robert Hummer (Judy) of Bridgewater, NJ, William Hummer (Rosemarie) of Belford, NJ, Kevin Kenny of Colorado, Timothy Kenny (Maryanne) of Emerson, NJ, Steven Kenny (Kendall) of South Dakota, Sue Simon of Bogota, NJ and Theresa Kelly (James) of Dumont, NJ. She is also survived by grandchildren, 13 treasured great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Anselm (1028 Wayside Rd, Tinton Falls, NJ 07712). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (360 Broadway, Keyport, NJ 07735).
