He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Caliendo and Betty Morris Caliendo; his wife Rosemary Vloyanetes Caliendo; his children, Katharine Caliendo (Ryan Crooks) and John Caliendo (Victoria Meade); and his sister Ceil Langa (Alex Langa). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
His contributions to the arts community also included performing with the Toms River Municipal Band and serving as a board member of the Monmouth Symphony.
