She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosie Lee and Charlie Carter; her sisters, Ruby Byrd, Vernal Walker, Pauline Young, Elizabeth Ervin and Doris Harris; and her granddaughter Theresa Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Gary Odell Wilson of Tinton Falls; her caregiver Yvonne Starks; her grandchildren, Tehesha Wilson of Hampton, Virginia and Rashad Jackson of Neptune; and her great grandchildren, Kasir Hicks of Hampton, Virginia, Bella and Caddy Jenks of Eatontown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
