He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Sottilare-Waeschle (Peter Waeschle) and Charlene Sottilare-Dyson (Ray Dyson); his grandson Russell A Gratta (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Jake, Roxanne and Russell Patrick; and his close friend Jane Geoghegan.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
