He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael A. Bontempo and Alice R. Connolly; and his sister Marie Soschin. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ann Kelsey (Kelsey); and his children, Nancy Linnell (James) of Forked River, Lisa DeFeo (Stephen) of Haddonfield, Alice Bontempo of Hawthorne, Michael Bontempo (Gwynne) of Toms River, Linda Coleman (Lawrence) of Triangle, VA, Ellen Paraiso (Charles) of Castle Rock, CO and Allan "AJ" Bontempo (Danielle Lacko) of Oceanport. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
