He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Campanella; and his siblings, Carmella, Philomena and Joseph (Junior). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joseph, John and Mary; his grandchildren, Michael (Joy), Francesca (John), Vanessa (Jesse) and Melissa (Nick); his great grandchildren, Jakob, James Michael and James Paul; and his brother Pat (Edith).
