With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Maihofer of Toms River, New Jersey, born in Dobbs Ferry, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Maihofer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his daughters, Toni-Ann Migliore and Lisa-Jane Vinciquarra. He is survived by: his wife Hope T. Maihofer; his daughters, Hope-Claire Holbeck (Doug) and Mary-Beth Byrne (Jim); his son-in-law Tony Vinciquarra; and his grandchildren, Lawrence Migliore, Kristin Migliore Burns, Teresa Migliore Evans, Jessica Holbeck Castenschiold, Kelsey Holbeck Perkins, Kevin Vinciquarra, Eric Vinciquarra, Corey Byrne and Kyle Byrne. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wood Funeral Home (134 E Main St, Tuckerton, NJ 08087).
