He is survived by: his daughter Brittney Byron (James); his grandchildren, James and Ryleigh Byron; his sister Nerise Carter; his nieces and nephews, Jaime and Louis Zampella; his brothers, Joseph Carter (Joann) and Jeffrey Carter (Pixie); his nephew Jeffrey; his sister Allison McLay (James); and his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Stephen, Alex and Jesse.
