He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Hopkinson and Frances Hopkinson (Church); his family Gail (Frederick McNiece); his sons, Douglas (Cyndie Hopkinson) and David (Laurie Hopkinson); his close friend Roberta Sullivan; his caregiver Meg Ravera; his grandchildren, Katherine (Jonathon Lander), Derek (Sarah Hopkinson) and Leah Hopkinson; and his great grandchildren, Harrison and Kennedy Lander.
