He was predeceased by: his father Jose M Lima. He is survived by: his mother Sheila M Lima; his siblings, Jennifer (Emad Abdou), Thomas (Katrina Lima-Tenor) and Sheila (Bill Ellis); his nephew Omar; and his niece Dina Abdou.
