It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph T. Smargiassi of Toms River, New Jersey, born in Union, New Jersey, who passed away on March 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his brother Nicholas; and his son Gary Smargiassi. He is survived by: his siblings, Theodore, Thomas, Anna, Phyllis, Mary and Michael (Jackie); his sons, Robert Smargiassi (Judith Cassese) and Jeffrey Smargiassi (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Makena, Joelle, Anthony and Christopher.
