He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Starnes and Rosaline Starnes. He is survived by: his wife Kelly; his son Paul A. Starnes, Jr. of Keansburg, NJ; his siblings, John Starnes and Patricia Starnes; his mother-in-law Josephine Freda; and his grandson Paul. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
