She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Licata and Louise Licata; her husband Joseph Polese; her sons, Thomas and Richard; and her brother Arthur Licata.

She is survived by : her children, John (Mary), Rita Polese (Roy Ratchford), Marie Loomis (Thomas), Joanne Bencivenga (Jonathan), Frank and Nancy Morrissey (Bob); and her siblings, Frances Perla and Frank Licata. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
