He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Rubin and Beatrice Chait. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Zagyi Rubin; his children, Scott Rubin (Christine) and Jennifer Portney; his brothers, Frank Rubin (Miriam) and Andrew Rubin; and his granddaughters, Brianna Portney and Alexa Portney.
