He is survived by: his pets, Ninja, Rambo and Shadow; his wife Kathleen Xanthos (McDermott); his children, Stephen J., Jr. (Debra Xanthos) of Manahawkin, NJ, Linda M. Xanthos of Toms River, NJ and Laura (James Brown) of Toms River, NJ; his granddaughters, Robyn and Samantha X. Brown; and his great grandchildren, Tianna, Patrick and Jovani.
The family welcomes donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
