She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Stoebling and Anna Stoebling (Rock); her husband James McGowan; her son Robert McGowan; her sisters, Anne Healey and Lorraine Stoebling; and her grandson Timothy McGowan.
She is survived by: her children, John McGowan (Kathleen) and Kathleen Arthurs (James); her brother Theodore Stoebling (Doris); and her grandchildren, Suzanne Gregory (Cliff), Katie Arthurs, John McGowan, James McGowan (Kristian) and Robert McGowan (Lisa). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Susan's memory, honoring her lifelong generosity.
