He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Hopper and Emily Wehrhahn Hopper; his brother James Allen, Jr. (Tom); his daughters, Christine Allen (Louis Madama), Amy (Matthew Kalwinsky) and Kate (Chris Seiler); his former wife Catherine Allen (Snyder); his sister Kay LaGuardia; and his grandchildren, Delaney Huber, Jack Huber, Logan Seiler, Mason Seiler, Kira Kalwinsky, Jake Seiler and Emmie Kalwinsky.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmona - Bolen Home For Funerals (412 Main St, Toms River, NJ 08753). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (685 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753).
