He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Madia and Helen Madia; and his wife Roslyn "Roz" Madia. He is survived by: his daughters, Helena Bianchi, Sandra Riotto (Joe) and Michele Valeriani (Andrew); his grandchildren, Alexa Stachitas, Alanna Wong, Tommy Bianchi, Andrew Valeriani, Dominic Valeriani, Juliana Riotto, Joey Riotto and Joella Valeriani; his great grandchildren, Ellie Stachitas, Vienna Valeriani, Nathan Wong and Isabella Valeriani; and his brothers, Charles and John Madia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to one of Bert's favorite charities, Wounded Warrior Project.
