He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, William P. Schaffer, IV and Jessica Sandino (Keoma); his grandsons, Jason and Alex; his siblings, Betty Luckhardt, Linda Kolasa, John Schaffer and Ronnie Puczilowski; and his pet Simon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
