She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Edward Scala and Mary Scala; her granddaughter Erica Gabriele; and her sister Dolores Miniaci. She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Brophy; her children, Thomas R. Brophy (Coleen) and Nancy Gabriele (Robert); her brother Edward Scala (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Justin Brophy, Erin Romanow (Bryan), Kevin Brophy (Lisa), Meghan Lavornia (Frank), Sean Brophy (Stevie Winchester), Jenna Fitzgerald, Kayla Gabriele, Samantha Gabriele, Chelsea Gabriele and Khloe Wesner. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlene's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated by her family.
