He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Bennett and Lillian Bennett; his daughter Lori Recker (Valentin); his grandson Lucien; his wife Dottie; and his cousins, Bob DeGeorge and Richard DeGeorge.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home (781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Laurel Grove Cemetery (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
