He is survived by: his wife Josefina Rivera; his children, Anna Maldonado (Nelson), Maria Collazo (Felipe), Lillian Rodriguez (Richard), Irma "Iris" Rivera (Joseph) and David Rivera (Marianna); his siblings, Jesus Torres Burgos, Florentina Rivera Burgos, Carmen Rivera Burgos and Ramon Rivera Burgos; his grandchildren, Raymond Morales (Christina), Nelson Maldonado (Laura), Gustavo Collazo (Kathryn), Brianna Rodriguez (Alex), Ariana Rivera, Jose Rivera, Jr., Amanda Pensavalle and Yadrielle Rivera; and his great grandchildren, Sopia Morales, Gustavo John Collazo, Josefina Collazo, Abel and Alec Maldonado. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
