Melendez; his children, Julio Frontiero (Jennifer), Rachael Frontiero (Kenny), Joseph E. Melendez (Trish) and Balbina Rosario; his caregiver Ana Melendez; his close friends, Virginia Testa, Lois Magee, Jose Escalera and Shaheed Morris; and his sister Ana Melendez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
