He was predeceased by: his former wife Clara Racz-Bogar; and his son Thomas S. Bogar. He is survived by: his brother Julius Bogar; his wife Jutka "Julianna" Juhasz; his son Imre "Jim" Bogar; his grandchildren, Samantha, James and Erica; and his great grandchildren, Vivian and Francis.
In recognition of his contributions to conservation and sportsmanship, Jimmy received the Ford Bothwell Award from the Mercer County Federation of Sportsman Clubs in 1992.
