She is survived by: her children, Patricia Stokes-Combs and Jan V. Stokes; her nephew E. K. Gary, Jr.; her nieces, Carolyn Gary and Cheryl Haigler; her godchildren, Kim Roberts, Kathy Shelton, Mary Deloatch (Bernard) and Sylvia Ayers Upshur; her friends, Rosemary, JoAnn Capell, Sherri Goodman, Gail Mizsur, Donna Fields, Leona Burgess and Beulah Lassiter; her caregiver Linda Hanley; her aide Patricia Hunter; and her caregiver Jay McGuigan. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (1300 Greenwood Ave, Trenton, NJ 08609). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
