Melvin (Georgia); her stepson Tracey Tanner; her grandchildren, Gianna Melvin, Joshua Melvin-Jackson and Najah Merritt; her siblings, Linda Corvin, Wayne Ogburn (Annette) and Earl Ogburn; her aunt Gladys Hooten; her nieces, Victoria Phillips, Myrda Outley (Darin), Stephanie Carter, Maja Ogburn, Ashley Ogburn and Sandra Russell; her nephew Richard Ogburn; and her cousin Bebe Hooten. She is also survived by other relatives, friends, nieces, and nephews.
