She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebenezer Smart and Albert Lindsey; and her children, Judith Martin and Anthony Rice. She is survived by: her children, Lorri Rice-Slaughter (Rodney) and Thomas Rice (Denise); her grandchildren, Shannell Price, Korey Slaughter (Corinthians), Kyler Slaughter, Konner Slaughter and Katelyn Rice (Shiheem); her great grandchildren, Remy Martin of Kayla Martin, Mi, Titus Slaughter and Naomi Slaughter; her goddaughter Cynthia Roessler; and her friends, Marge Cross, Liz, Roy Ashford and Albert Stancil.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar New Life Christian Center (812 Prospect St, Trenton, NJ 08618). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM.
