She was predeceased by: her parents, William Coates and Phoebe Coates; her daughter Judy E. Johnson; and her brothers, William H. Coates and Edward "Jim" Coates.
She is survived by: her sons, John "Jackie" E. Johnson Jr. (Marie "Mimi") of Manahawkin, NJ and Jerry E. Johnson (Jessica) of Tuckerton; her stepdaughter Donna Lynn; her sister ShirleyMae Beron of Lake Wales, FL; and her grandchildren, David, Lauren, Elizabeth, Judy, Brandon, Ashley, April, Breanna and Jerry Jr.. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
