Alice M. Long-Ward Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice M. Long-Ward of Union Beach, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2026 at the age of 83. As we bid Alice farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alice is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Hassell (Baron) and Samuel Hassell; her husbands, Ralph Long and Philip Ward; and her daughter Alice Woodhead.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Gunsauls (Henry), Judi Ervin Ralph Long (Chuck) and Thomas Long; her stepdaughter Lynn Esbrandt (Keith); and her brother Dean Hassell. She is also survived by grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
