She was predeceased by: her parents, Ana Maria (Fidel Madariaga) and Gladys; her husband Basilio Barcena; and her brothers, Orlando and Jose Maria.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Barcena and Beatriz Chesnov (Jody); her grandchildren, Alnie Sanatar (David) and Jillian Chesnov; her great grandchild Luca Sanatar; and her siblings, Fidel, Leonel, Dayse, Raquel and Ana Maria.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leber Funeral Home (1245 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094). A committal service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
