He is survived by: his wife Ana Julia; his children, Gustavo Gomez Leon, Yvonne Johanna Balseca Gomez and Sergio Dario Gomez; his grandchildren, Daniel, Roberto, Dario, Carlos, Gina, Karen, Adriana, Asli Johanna, Ana Sophia and Keilani; his great grandchildren, Adrian, Gabriela, Valerie, Jessica, Kairi, Kamila, Callie and Adalia Ember; his great great grandchild Angelo Ezra; and his siblings, Kiko Gomez, Amarilis Gomez, Margarita Gomez, Teresa Gomez, Charo Gomez, Rodolfo Gomez, Sonia Balanzategui and Ricardo Maldonado.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Barquin Funeral Home (7101 Broadway, North Bergen, NJ 07093). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary RC Church (569 65th St, West New York, NJ 07093). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Flower Hill Cemetery (5433 John F. Kennedy Blvd, West New York, NJ 07047).
