It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfreda A. Dutkowski (Union, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Alfreda may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanisława Rutkowska (Stella) and Tadeusz Wyszyński; and her husband Thaddeus Alexander Dutkowski. She was also cherished by four children, 3 daughters and 1 son.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. James Church (45 S Springfield Ave, Springfield, NJ 07081). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
