He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Recchia Sr. and Marie Recchia; and his sister Lillian. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Recchia (Matthewson); his children, Michael Recchia, Joanne Genovese, Patricia DeSarno, Donald Recchia and Anthony Recchia III; his grandchildren, Melissa, Allison, Kimberly, Julian and Ivan; and his sister Augusta "Gussie" Foley.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home (1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
