He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Daniel LaPlaca, Elvira LaPlaca and Ethel Vesper. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel J. LaPlaca of Union, N. J. and Laura Kornak; his stepfather Stanley J. Kornak; and his sister Carolyn Kornak. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
