He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Gallagher and Dolores Gallagher (McCarthy). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gallagher (McCann); his daughters, Katelyn Gallagher, Kelly Schmidt (Matthew) and Brianne Longest (Michael); and his grandchildren, Logan and Lila Schmidt. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Madison Memorial (159 Main St, Madison, NJ 07940). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church (28 Livingston Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to Dr. Eileen O'Reilly's pancreatic cancer research fund.
