It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Fortino of Union, New Jersey, who passed away on October 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dolores Fortino to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Fortino and Angelina Fortino; her sister Johanna Smith; and her niece Maria Ferrara. She is survived by: her sister Grace Fortino; her sibling's children, Carol Stockl (Robert) and Edward Smith, Jr. (Lisa); her great-nieces, Tara Reynolds, Kelly Pinto, Lisa Rachel Smith, Rachel Grimes, Mary Smith, Catherine Blasko and Johanna Ferrara; and her nephews, Danny, Luke, Quinn, Noah, Nicholas, Majestic, Jaydon, Jameson (Grace), Gerard and Jack.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Michael Church (1212 Kelly St, Union, NJ 07083).
