It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elvira R Skubon of Union, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Teresa Lioi and Pasquale Lioi; her husband John J. Skubon; her siblings, Ralph, Tony, Clara Lioi and Rose Russo; and her sons-in-law, Michael J. Nolan and Rich Snitko.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Skubon (Jim Quinn), Kim Snitko of Neptune and John J. Skubon, Jr. of Roselle Park; and her sisters, Teresa Giaquinto of Paterson and Eva Sayde of Hawthorne. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
