He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vendemia and Arlene Vendemia. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Harry, Hope, Jack and Joseph; his wife Kathie Cox; his children, Melissa Bonassisa (Michael) and Christopher Vendemia (Laura); and his siblings, James (Susan), Joseph (Donna), Michael (Diane) and Debbie. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
