Joao Carlos left this world on June 27, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Gabriel and Sara Carinha Rodrigues; his wife Maria Jose Rodrigues; and his sister Maria De Jesus. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Julia Carvalho (Sergio) and Rosa Maria Vigario (late Alfredo); his grandchildren, Sandra Cristina Carvalho Leite (Andre), Susana Isabel Carvalho (Ricardo Costa), Veronica Vigario-Flores (Mario), Daniel Lino (Jessica Lino) and David Vigario; his great grandchildren, Bryan Leite, Ava Valentina Flores, Gabriella Lino, Gil Carvalho, Santi Leite and Lilliana Lino; and his siblings, Arminda, Manuel, Rosa, Sara, Jose and Zulmira.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (82 Congress St, Newark, NJ 07105).
