He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Duraes; his daughters, Carla Duraes and Susie Matos; his sons-in-law, Sergio and Eugenio; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Emanuel and Michael.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (403 Spring St, Elizabeth, NJ 07201). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
