Jose R. Sabater Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2023, at the age of 63, Jose R. Sabater (Union, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Sabater and Julio Sabater. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Sabater; his daughters, Sabrina and Nadine Sabater; and his brother Julio Sabater. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the Founding Father Jose Sabater Memorial Scholarship Fund. It was Jose's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to his beloved Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity Inc., of which he was a founding member and first president in 1979.
