He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Lauer and Cecelia Lauer; his sisters, Louise and Francis; his wife Alma Lauer (Kopaz); his children, Joseph Lauer, Bernadette Watson (Rick), Michael Lauer (Heidi), Richard Lauer (Christine), John Lauer (Celia) and Jennifer Lauer; his grandchildren, Nicholas Watson (Sarah), Danielle Fernandez (Jake), Tim Watson, Cass Lauer, Michael Lauer, Jr., Jaimee Lauer, Erinn Lauer, Matthew Lauer and Gabriella Lauer; his great grandchildren, Nolan and Colton Fernandez; and his grandchild Halloween.
