He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Furnari and Angelina Furnari. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Russell, Joseph and Lisa; his children-in-law, Lydia, Deborah and Peter; and his grandchildren, Gina (Matt), Nick, David, Vanessa and Gianna.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home (1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael's Church (1212 Kelly St, Union, NJ 07083).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Joseph Furnari to the St. Michael's CYO Youth Ministry to lessen retreat costs for the teens.
