He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Romano and Rose Romano; his wife Carolyn; his sisters, Elvira D'Amato, Rosemarie Scott and Anne Teen; his brothers-in-law, George D'Amato, Donald Tripp, Thomas Biancamano and Joseph Lazzaro; and his grandson Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Francis (Deborah) and Caroline Bogner (Steven); his grandchildren, Francis Jr. (Tarah), Anthony, Sophia and Massimo; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Vivian; his sister Frances Tripp; his sisters-in-law, Florence Biancamano, Maryann Mindek (John 'Jack') and Antoinette Bruno (Pasqualino 'Pat'); his close friends, John, Barbara Pacifico, Giacomo, Joan Silvestri, Anthony, Elizabeth Santora, Robert and Patricia McCarthy; and his caregiver Alona Nolasco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
