We announce the death of Michael Joseph Tighe (Summit, New Jersey), who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 85. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Daniel Tighe and Mary Elizabeth Tighe (McDermott); his wife Susan; his brother John; and his daughter Kerry Ann.
He is survived by: his brother Joe; his daughters, Erin, Zuben (Christian) of Warrington, PA, Tara Nolan of Madison, NJ, Kelly Szeto (Eric) of New Providence, NJ and Devon Tighe (Michael Buck) of Cape Town; and his grandchildren, Michael, Aidan, Anne, Brigid, Liam, Casey and Grace.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home (299 Morris Ave, Summit, NJ 07901). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Teresa of Avila Church (306 Morris Ave, Summit, NJ 07901).
